Reach the 70km turn point on the course, if you’ve the legs carry on to the 100km turn point.
Whichever you choose, there’s on-course refreshments, HQ hospitality, finishers’ eco-medals, winners trophies.
The route is an out and back from Whaley Bridge to Newhaven (for the 70km) / Middleton Top near Cromford (for the 100km). Up the Goyt Valley, through the historic spa town of Buxton and out into the rolling dales of the White Peak. Passing within sight of the Minninglow stone age burial mound, along the Pennine Bridleway National Trail to the turn at the River Derwent. Total ascent out and back is 1460 metres.
