Winter Downs 200
Awesome start to this week’s Race Weekly with the inaugural Winter Downs 200 from Centurion Running. We’d really have liked to followed this more closes hour by hour and blow by blow as it’s been a cracker. Ry Webb as per featured photo took 1st overall and 1st male, but not without a fight as Sam Skinner held onto the Lead for some 160 miles. Ry Webb came home in 49 hours 15 minutes!
Sam Skinner came home in 2nd overall with a time of 53 hours 57 minutes and Andrew Churchill came in 3rd overall with a time of 55 hours 6 minutes. Onto the ladies with Laura Swanton-Rouvelin taking 1st female and joint 9th overall with a time of 63 hours 14 minutes, Sophie Bennett came 2nd female in 69 hours 22 minutes and Ally Whitlock took 3rd female in 71 hours 7 minutes. It’s been great dot watching and following the social media updates from Centurion Running and some of us here at OSU are almost tempted to sign up to next years race.
