Blackwater Ultra 36 mile

Starting in Chelmsford at the end of the Blackwater navigation, the route follows a series of footpaths through the tranquil Essex countryside to Heybridge Basin, where the half finishes.

The marathon then continues along the Saltmarsh coastal trail footpath to Tollesbury and the Ultra then heads through to Salcott cum Virley.
