Cone Of Doom

Many SVN events regular runners will have noticed feature a cone as a turn around point. For reasons utterly unknown to me, the cone has been dubbed the “Cone of Doom” – mainly I think as it’s often at the furthest end of the course! And then the cone was dubbed “Conan” as obviously has a name… and whilst now we’re probably on the son of the son of the son of the son of Conan we thought a fun theme for an event would be to honour the long hours that the Cone of Doom sits out on courses keeping the distance about right!
