Well let’s start with the 50M, for starters we are extending the cut off to 26 hours to complete,this means both runners,mid packers and those looking to walk the route can.
We are also adding a 2 Hour ‘Sleep Zone’ for those walking who want to rest.
The Race will now start from on the beach in Porthdinllaen next to the iconic Ty Coch pub at 22:00 Friday the 5th of July,night start means that you will be running into day light rather than the other way around which makes sure for a day/evening finish and more of a crowd finish and atmosphere when you cross the finish line in Abererch Sands Holiday Park which is the Race Hub and Ultra Camping Village.
The free competitors shuttle from the Race hub the evening of the race will take you to the start at Porthdinllaen. This means you still have the same time to register and camp.
The course now follows the true and route along the Welsh Coastal path, with no dog legs or long road segments. you’ll visit coves and villages along the welsh coastal path going around the headland of the Llyn Peninsula, before going across Llanbedrog Headland to the trig point to taken in the stunning views before taking the Solomon’s Trail to Llanbedrog beach then along the coast to the finish.
